Who am I and why should you listen to me?  My name is Dr. Neil Migliore and I’m a board certified physician.  I have a MD, PHD and a HMD.  I come from a family of physicians so it was only natural that I would join in their footsteps.  Helping people is a big concern for me so I wanted to do what I can.  After I received my degree I started practicing psychiatry.  Then about ten years later, a lady came to me and started talking about homeopathic medicine.  I found this intriguing and started doing research.
 

Homeopathic philosophy is based on the concept of “like cures like”.  I decided that I wanted to become and homeopathic doctor and went to England to study.  Homeopathic medicine has been around for ages.  Up until WWII, most doctors were homeopathic doctors.

Let me tell you a story…

In 2003 I had an office in Oakville, Ontario, right outside of Toronto. I received a phone call from a man (at the time of the call, I did not know him)…he asked if I was a conventional doctor.  I said, “I am a medical doctor by training, but I’m also a homeopathic doctor as well.”


He told me his name was Mr. Bowers and that his wife had cancer.  He continued,  “All the other doctors had given her up for dead and want me to put her into hospice.  She’s too weak to come to your office and I would be willing to pay whatever your fee is if you would come to our home and examine her.”


I asked his address and explained that I had appointments that morning, however I would come by later that afternoon.  When I showed, I went into the sick room where his wife was and she had the “death mask” look on her face.  She weighted eighty-one pounds and had a tumor the size of an orange on her cervix.


I took her hand, looked her in the eyes and asked, “Do you think I can cure you?”  She looked back at me and said, “I know you can cure me.”


After I had examined her, I gave her an injection of a homeopathic preparation.  I then gave her husband some homeopathic tablets and told him to give them to her three times a day. I told him I would check back in two weeks.  As I was leaving, I looked back at Mrs. Bowers and said, “I will make you well.”


Two weeks later, Mr. Bowers called me, “Dr. Migliore, I can’t believe it.  My wife sat up and has been able to eat food and keep it down.”  I was encouraged with the news and told him I would be by later to check up on Mrs. Bowers.  When I got there, she had gained four pounds and her color was much better.  I told her she was making great progress.


This was in April of 2003.  By September 2003, Mrs. Bowers was well enough to come to my office.  She had gained back forty-five pounds and was looking much better.  I put up on the table and examined her.  The tumor was now the size of a grape. I told her to keep taking the homeopathic medicine for 3 more months.  At that time I gave her a prescription for more refills.


By Christmas time of 2003 she was back to her normal weight and the tumor was totally gone.  To this day, I still get notes from Mrs. Bowers and she’s doing just fine.

• Accutane has been a controversial acne medication because of the serious risk of side effects and suicides attributed to it.  In 2001, a Congressman expressed his concerns about Accutane following the suicide of his son who happened to be taking Accutane. There have been 142 suicides involving Accutane.  In addition this drug carries high risk of deformed babies, miscarriage, premature birth, or death of the baby, plus severe liver damage has been reported. Amazingly this drug keeps being prescribed.

The human body is a natural entity and it needs nature’s products to maintain life and health.  Our foods nurture our body and help with rebuilding of cells.  Medicines and supplements made from natural sources are readily accepted by out bodies and can promote healing.
